Sophie Turner wants the world to know that she did indeed hide her first pregnancy.
The star mentioned how it was never easy for her to do something like this in the first place. But she did and she’s not proud of it.
The leading Game of Thrones actress shed light on how she was struggling with the news of accepting that she was going to be a parent. Therefore, she opted to not tell her husband and musician Joe Jonas.
Turner admitted that the fear of becoming a mother started to take over her and she hid the truth from her man for two weeks and then gave in. “I was in Bali and we were on a holiday. The pair just embarked on a retreat on this island in Indonesia where she took the pregnancy test and it came back positive.
She was only 23 and the thought of dealing with parenthood and her family life started to take a toll on her, the celeb added.
“I was carrying my first baby. This was serious news. I hope Joe can forgive but I did tell him. Everyone deals with things differently. But at that moment in time, I was so overwhelmed”- the celeb explained during a candid interview.
