It seems like the bitter feud between Hollywood actors and former couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt keeps getting worse.
The pair’s daughter Shiloh has opted to take a major step in her life after turning 18. Not only has she decided to drop her dad’s last name from hers, but she has made the news public in a very unique way.
This includes rolling out an actual newspaper ad in the form of a public notice across the LA Times where she opted to disclose to the world that she has nothing to do with her father.
‘I’m dropping Pitt from my surname and I hope people can realize now that I have my own identity’- she continued. The ad and legal notice are just bizarre to some as the rumors regarding her name drop had already reached the media’s ears. But to have that highlighted for a second time is concerning to some.
As per a report, California’s state law says she wants to alter her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie only. Meanwhile, one rep for the Los Angeles Times did not return a comment on the matter.
The news comes at a time when Angelina Jolie has publicly requested her former husband and father of her kids to stop the bickering and feud and drop the winery case against her as it’s impacting the kids. Pitt is yet to roll out any statement on this front.
