Now that Zohran Mamdani has been elected as the latest New York City mayor after winning the elections fair and square, some of his alleged former Hinge matches are coming out of the woodwork.
The 34-year-old mayor-elect, who met his wife Rama Duwaji on the popular application, will make history as the first Muslim and South Asian mayor of NYC. It’s also been shared that he met his partner online through Hinge, and the duo got married this year.
After the Democrat was seen winning the elections, some of his former dating partners have come out in the open and seem to want to get their 15 minutes of fame. Amongst them is one woman who says to have matched with Mamdani and now she’s revealing why she rejected him.
She explained how she remembered the time that she matched with Mamdani on NYC Hinge a few years ago, but did not reply to him because his height was listed as 5’11 or 5’10, which the younger version of her knew was not the case. “I found him medium-sized in person and personally prefer taller men. Still, he was more honest than other people who really go to extremes when it comes to the truth,” the woman added.
She clearly did not receive much love on TikTok for her useless argument, with many glad that she never crossed paths with someone like him, who clearly deserved better than her.
