In what appears to be the battle of the jams, interesting reports are speaking about the royal palace entering into a unique phase of competition with Meghan Markle.
Just a few days back, we saw the Duchess of Sussex speak about the rollout of her first product from her luxe American lifestyle brand. And this certainly had people stunned as they expected a little more effort from her side.
Nevertheless, American Riveria’s first product happened to be none other than luxe strawberry jams that the Duchess says are made using handpicked farm-fresh goodness from Montecito. But wait, just a few days later, Buckingham Palace was seen selling its own strawberry preserve with strategic marketing in place.
As one can imagine, the news was worrisome for Meghan’s brand as many wondered what was going on here. Was it necessary to pull a marketing stunt like that, in the same week as the Duchess?
Clearly, it seems like Meghan Markle is going to have to face this news like the other competition to reach the top market spot amongst users. And for that, the brand needs to be at the top of its game.
On a side note, the Royal Strawberry Preserve has been getting a positive response and sales were said to be flourishing. Hence, it seems like Meghan Markle is the one to thank her. What do you think?
