Wedding guests wearing red on the wedding day is usually frowned upon in Indian culture.
The reason is simple, the idea is that the color is reserved for the bride and anyone not following this rule is said to be upstaging the bride. Unfortunately, Kim Kardashian is now being accused of that cheap move which many in the country didn’t appreciate.
The Kardashian sisters were seen draped in luxe designer attire from the country’s top labels, not to mention being draped in diamonds.
They were attending the star-studded billionaire wedding but the fact that Kim and Khloe managed to steal the spotlight and act like true royal princesses at the celebration has left a lot of people talking.
Many called Kim disrespectful for wearing red and disobeying Indian culture with an excessive display of cleavage.
While the wedding was very extravagant and other guests seemed to be following that theme, it was the Kardashian sisters who are now being trolled and not spared for their behavior.
Kim shared snaps from the event through her Instagram account with the caption, ‘India has my heart’, and that featured clicks of her rocking the Indian lehenga in red. But fans had a lot to say about her outfit, including the color.
