Coco Austin is standing by her decisions.
The star shared during the latest episode of her podcast that she had all the right reasons to continue breastfeeding her daughter Chanel till the age of 6. She also mentioned how the mother-daughter bond used it more as a bonding experience in her later years than anything else, and she’s proud of it.
The model mentioned that it was less about feeding her in the sense that she needed a meal, but it was more about how she felt in terms of the bond of closeness.
‘My daughter was on solids by a year, so she was consuming full solids’- she continued. But when it came down to full milk, the podcaster said she chose to her own for a very good reason! She also shared how it was a personal choice and not everyone needs to be okay with it. ‘It was for my sake and my daughter’s sake, and I knew what I was doing’- she explained.
Coco added that she stopped when her daughter wanted to stop. This was a decision that she wished her daughter would take, and she is happy she stuck to it.
‘She’s not gonna be 16 on my boob’- Austin declared. ‘She will eventually figure things out, and that’s what happened. I didn’t worry one bit about what people had to say’- the celeb concluded.
