A football coach from Milwaukee has turned into the latest victim of a devastating shortage of drugs crisis that is grappling the US at an alarming pace.
The victim was identified as 60-year-old Jeff Bolle who also served as a counselor in high school and football coach. He died from the adverse effects of bile duct cancer after medical experts claimed he ran out of a very important chemo drug called cisplatin.
Bolle is reported to have undergone surgery and approximately four rounds of chemo to get rid of a grapefruit-sized tumor that was present inside his bile duct that was near his liver.
Moreover, they also revealed in detail how he needed two more rounds of that to get rid of all the tumor cells before he could be cancer-free. But it appears that faith had other plans for him.
He is believed to have been informed by his cancer center where he was being treated that he didn’t have the drug. Instead, he languished for a few months without attaining the cancer-slowing meds. This ultimately led to his death in the end and now his family is speaking out about a tragedy that they hope and pray no one else in the country has to go through.
