Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s popular Archwell Charity Foundation has been barred from receiving donations after a recent incident.
According to reports from local media outlets, it was just baffling for some to understand how there was a missing cheque that is yet to be found, and due to that, it’s been restricted from working as usual.
The charity regulator based in the US mentioned how it was now declared as ‘delinquent’ and that meant a lot of people are now raising questions on previous activities and if money sent was actually being used for the right reasons.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s organization is not in good standing, as mentioned by the Registry for Charities in California. And that is also where the pair live.
Moreover, they shed light on how the Archwell Foundation failed to roll out any annual report on this front or even renew the fees. It was therefore banned from raising funds or distributing charitable funds for the time being.
The news comes just days after the Duke and Duchess returned from an unofficial tour of Nigeria that again raised many questions in people’s minds who felt they were using their non-existent royal status to make such tours.
