Sydney Sweeney’s latest movie, Christy, has flopped at the big office, and that has led to widespread criticism against the star by some leading names from the industry.
This includes the likes of plus-size model Ella Halikas, to suggest that it’s because the star did not show enough of her assets, including her skin.
The movie sees the actress playing Hall of Fame star Christy Martin, which was a role that’s totally different from her usual sexy blonde bombshell picture.
When she was asked if the movie underperformed due to Sweeney not being her usual half-naked self, the model said that all she feels is that Sweeney is known for her blonde hair, big cleavage, and plenty of skin showing roles. And since the audience didn’t get that here, viewers were not happy.
Since the actress was mostly covered and she’s not in that role, viewers did not know what to make of it. Many felt that she was mocking Sweeney as a dumb blonde who only got fame due to her assets, which fans claim was not the case.
The movie ranked on the list of the top 12 movie of all times, which is a total disaster at the box office.
