Starbucks is making headlines for some controversial reasons, and fans are not happy.
The leading franchise raised eyebrows after rolling out a festive deal for coffee lovers to enjoy in the form of a Bearista beverage container. This was called the Bearista cold cup, and it’s safe to say that it was highly in demand. It managed to hit stores during the early morning hours of November 6.

Now, everything seemed to be going as planned until customers lining up for the viral deal spoke up against the company, accusing its workers of saving up the cups for themselves to enjoy for free.
That led to massive outrage for those who waited long hours for the product. The 20-ounce cup comes shaped like a bear and includes a lid attached to a straw that, when placed inside, appears like a Starbucks signature color green beanie sitting on the bear’s head. Starbucks revealed the product on Instagram, and it was a clear hit.

But soon, the company had the most negative reviews from those who desired to get it. Many called it not cool marketing to have just 1 or 2 at every store and to enable baristas full access to the product first.
Another stated that they should have kept additional cups for employees so it wouldn’t clash with supply and demand. This led to the firm rolling out an apology to the masses on this front. But there’s been no mention of a restocking so far.
